Companies require more information on the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme
An annual survey of three hundred businesses in the UK has found that a large number of businesses are uncertain with their obligations under the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) Energy Efficiency Scheme and thus need to have much more guidance.
The npower Business Energy index discovered that 82% of firms needed more clarity surrounding their commitments. 46% of the firms interviewed also said they had not been given adequate guidance concerning the scheme.
On the other hand, a large percentage of the firms that responded (72%) had invested in energy saving products or used a few energy saving ideas as a reaction to getting involved within the scheme.
